Understanding trade grades
* Qualification grades refer to the Russian trade grading system.
Grades describe the complexity of work and the occupational knowledge required within a particular trade. Grade 4 covers the defined skilled tasks for that occupation; Grades 5 and 6 involve progressively more demanding work where specified. A grade in one trade does not establish competence in another. Project selection also considers documented experience and relevant trade approvals.
